Wife, Mother, Minister, Author, Speaker

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, at a young age, Deborah received Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour at the Garden of Prayer Church under the tutelage of Dr. B. H. & Mother Elizabeth Juanita Dabney where she and her family attended faithfully.  Unknowing to her mother, at a very young age, she became a victim of incest.  Without delay Deborah put her trust in Christ to bring comfort to her little shattered heart.

After the demise of the Dabney's and the unfortunate fire that destroyed the church, on November 9, 1992, Deborah joined the Deliverance Evangelistic Church, where Pastor Benjamin Smith, Sr. presided.

With a continual hunger to study the Word of God more systematically, Deborah enrolled in the Deliverance Evangelistic Bible Institute. Faithfully, she attended holding an A+ grade average throughout her biblical tenure.  After completion of the mandatory twelve biblical courses, she graduated with an ETA (Evangelical Theological Associate) degree.  Deborah's academic abilities were noticed by all which offered her a position in the newly formed Public Relations Department as a reporter.  Because of her professionalism a typist position for the Pastor's sermons was also offered to her.

In 1997, God called Deborah to the ministry of HINDS' Feet Ministries & Productions where she was personally mentored for ministry by Pastor Rachel L. Harris.  Later that year, God anointed and sent her forth as not only Pastor Harris' armor-bearer, and confidant, but personal assistant also.  On October 31, 1999, she was Licensed/Ordained to the call(s) of Prophetess and Teacher.  Later in that same year, Pastor Harris shared her vision with Deborah to open up a biblical leadership training school.  Upon request, Deborah prayed to create a curriculum based on Pastor Harris' vision.  Soon, Chinedu Bible & Leadership Training Institute was birthed.  Within three years the school expanded to Delaware County, Cheyney State University Campus where she taught the pilot class.

Over the years of much spiritual counseling, receiving healing from the trauma of abuse, and sicknesses in her body; today through Christ Jesus and those He gave rule over her, she stands a delivered vessel.  Through her sufferings she acquired a desire to communicate in general the importance of forgiveness. Her compassion to help someone else be healed from this horrific stigma became her mission and to share her most intimate stories with others has opened many doors; such as, C.O.P.E. (Coalition of Prison Evangelists) a well-known organization throughout the United States of America.  Her addressees have also been those of leadership positions within the Christian denomination; as well as, other nationalities who have suffered the degradation of abuse.

A job separation nudged her to begin documentation on her life.  She's won first place for the Barne's and Noble "Camp Creek Writer's Fellowship" Short Story Contest.

Later on after she became a member of the same Writer's Fellowship, headed by her literary mentor, Denise Jones, Deborah discovered in order to become a successful published author it required the same measure of  dedication full time ministry did.  Yet, writing was her long awaited passion desiring to be birthed.  Fearful of the literary red-eyed monsters "synopsis," and "queries," Deborah found a way to appease the chubby little gobblers by creating an outstanding synopsis and query letters which eventually won points for her at first glance.
