Another was a dad who has remarried and has a new family. He was desperately trying to find a home for his daughter before he bailed her out of jail. Everyone told him to leaver her there but he wants a better future for her and his grandchild. We talked, prayed, and cried together. I did a bit of research and found a home to take her. He wasn't sure she would go but this experience "brought her to her senses" and she welcomed the opportunity at a new life for her and her baby.
The phone rings for help and we turn them away. "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn." Luke 2:7
Help us, please. Becoming a partner by sending $5 per month helps us. If you are able to do more, please do so. Tell your church, family and friends about our needs. We also need your prayers. But for the grace of God and a few dedicated partners, we would be forced to close our doors to everyone.
Personal sacrifices continue to be made to help the less fortunate. These girls need to know they are loved, special, important and needed.
We cannot do it without you. God works through us to accomplish what must be done. We need an increase in funding or these children and their babies will be lost to the world.
